General Scholarship Application

🎓 Who Should Apply

This scholarship opportunity is intended for applicants who are not currently enrolled in a degree program at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) and are not employees of the Agència de Salut Pública de Barcelona (ASPB).

Not Eligible:
Current Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School degree-seeking students are not eligible for registration-fee scholarships.

If you meet the criteria above, you are encouraged to submit a general scholarship application using the instructions below.

📅 Scholarship Deadline

• Application Deadline: August 31, 2025
• All applications will be reviewed on a space-available basis
• Only applications submitted by the deadline will be considered

📄 General Information

Once your application is submitted, it will be reviewed by the Fall Institute Scholarship Committee. The review process considers:

• Academic and professional background
• Personal statement
• Preferred courses or workshops

Applicants will receive confirmation and next steps once a decision is made. If awarded a scholarship, you will be provided with instructions to finalize your registration.

🆕 First-Time Scholarship Applicants

If you have never received a Fall Institute scholarship, please follow these steps:

1. Visit the Continuing Education Student Services Application
2. Select the Fall Institute as your program of interest
3. Indicate "Yes" when asked if you are applying for a scholarship

What to Expect After Submitting:

Once submitted, you will receive several emails from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, including:

• A welcome email outlining the next steps
• Your Johns Hopkins Student ID
• A JHED (Johns Hopkins Enterprise Directory) login ID
• (If international) A JHU-issued identification number to substitute for a U.S. Social Security number

🔁 Returning Scholarship Applicants

If you are a previous scholarship recipient, please complete the abbreviated application form below to submit your updated course preferences.

🚫 Do not complete the full online application again.
Submitting both forms may cause duplicate records in the Registrar’s system.

Once your updated application is received and processed, your registration will be confirmed.
