Infectious Disease

Pathogens and parasites, from prokaryotic viruses and bacteria to eukaryotic fungus and protists, can have profound impacts on humans from the level of cells up to entire populations. Faculty in our program study how pathogens impact hosts biology and how host react to and combat infection.
