Brandon Gorodokin, Writing Center Coordinator and Tutor

Brandon Gorodokin

Writing Center Coordinator

I am a second year ScM student in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (BMB). I studied Biology and Computer Science as an undergrad at NYU, where I also worked as a Writing Tutor, and I am excited to assist the Writing Center as Coordinator. I specialize in bringing out the unique voice of the writer in argumentative writing and research papers, but I'm excited to assist with all kinds of writing projects.

Fun fact: I'm an avid creative writer and science fiction reader/watcher/gamer. Additionally, I play competitive ice hockey with the Maryland adult league. Follow my team on Instagram (@bmoretopes) and Facebook (Baltimore Ice-o-Topes); hope to see you at some of the games!

I am a first year MSPH student in the Department of Health, Behavior, and Society studying health education and communication. This past spring of 2024, I graduated from George Washington University and received a B.S. in public health and a minor in STEM teaching, on the pre-medical track. During my time at GW, I was part of the GW Writing Center, where I was mostly responsible for health-related written assignments and pre-medical writing workshops, as well as helping both undergrad and graduate students with all kinds of writing. Therefore, I specialize in any kind of health-related or pre-medical writing, highlighting the writers voice, literary brainstorming, grammar, as well as adding creativity to any paper necessary!

Fun fact: I used to be both a competitive soccer player and piano player!
