Center For Communication Programs Wins Two Gold Quill Awards

The Center for Communication Programs at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health was awarded Gold Quill awards for 2002 for two innovative communication projects, the International Business Communicators Association (IABC) announced this week.

Study Finds Acute Measles Suppresses HIV Replication

Replication of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is briefly suppressed during acute measles. HIV-infected children were found to have HIV levels significantly lower while having measles compared to HIV-infected children who did not have measles.

Media Visits

The Bloomberg School requires all media guests–including print and electronic reporters, photographers, producers, and videographers–to coordinate with a Bloomberg School media representative in advance of their visit, ideally with 48-hours notice. This applies to all School-affiliated buildings, offices, and facilities. 

Bloomberg School media guests will be accompanied by a communications staff member throughout their entire visit.
