Her research interests include transition and sustainability of donor-funded health programs, institutional strengthening, health systems and policy research, and implementation science.
Experiences & Accomplishments
Dr. Kriti Singh is a social scientist with a Ph.D. in Social Sciences from Jawaharlal Nehru University, India. She has over twenty years of experience working on health and development in India and its states. Her work spans maternal and child health, tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, adolescent health, and gender-based violence and led health system strengthening projects in partnership with state governments, helping to integrate donor-funded innovations into public health systems.
Her portfolio of work reflects a deep engagement with the opportunities and challenges of sustaining health gains beyond the life of donor funding. She has contributed to pioneering studies on the transition of Avahan HIV/AIDS Initiative to government, documenting lessons on transition and sustainability, and has worked with national partners to embed evidence-based practices into existing health systems in India.
Honors & Awards
Dr. Singh was selected as an emerging leader in the WomenLift Health Leadership Journey (2022–2023), supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, in recognition of her leadership in shaping sustainable global health programs in India.
