EHESO Mission

The graduate student group in the Department of Environmental Health and Engineering provides opportunities for social, intellectual, and service-oriented interaction for graduate-level students in the department. Events throughout the year include mixers, happy hours, seminars, volunteer days, and more.  The group facilitates activities that build professional skills and ensures that EHE students are represented on key departmental and school-wide committees.

Elizabeth Chatpar, ScM

Elizabeth Chatpar, ScM, is a doctoral student in the Department of Environmental Health and Engineering. Advised by Keeve Nachman, PhD, she is in the Environmental Sustainability, Resilience, and Health track. She earned a Master of Science in Environmental Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Earth and Planetary Sciences from Johns Hopkins. Elizabeth’s previous work includes studying the use of time activity data to estimate children’s chemical exposures. Her current research focuses on the human and environmental health impacts of industrial food animal production.
