| National Women's Law Center - State by State | The State by State Dashboard provided by the National Women's Law Center is one of over 20 maps and dashboards created by the organization examining the status of women in the United States. This dashboard specifically looks at poverty, wage gaps, and health insurance status. |
| State Policy Action Lab | This dashboard examines women's status on 4 main domains: Caregiving and Families, Education and Career Advancement, Equitable Work and Wages, and Reproductive Justice and Health Equity. This resource provides data, policy, and demographic information on US states. |
| State Policy Resources - Guttmacher Institute | State-by-state analysis conducted by Guttmacher on reproductive health and sexual health policy in the US. Tools included on this page include the abortion legislation tracker, which is updated daily as of 2025. |
| State Profiles for Women's Health - KFF | The State Profiles for Women's Health dashboard provides data on indicators on topics such as abortion access, insurance covereage, sexual health, and healthcare access and utilization for US women. Data comes largely from KFF analysis, and allows for state by state breakdowns with exportable graphics. |
2024 State Scorecard on Women’s Health and Reproductive Care | This report, with interactive maps for each indicator, comes from the Commonwealth foundation. The report contains indicators primarily targetting health system performance, healthcare quality, and coverage/access to care for women. | Women, Peace and Security Index | The Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) Index 2023/24, the fourth since the inaugural 2017/18 index, ranks 177 countries and economies on women’s status (see box 1). As the only index to bring together indicators of women’s inclusion, justice, and security, the WPS Index is a valuable measure of women’sstatus that can be used to track trends, guide policymaking, and hold governments accountable for their promises to advance women’s rights and opportunities. |
