Education & Training

We nurture the next generation of global public mental health professionals, preparing them to drive innovative change towards a just healthcare system.

Global Mental Health Training Programs

The Center’s faculty offer a range of in person and online courses geared toward applied mental health research that are relevant for individuals working with populations with limited resources and high adversity in high, middle, and low-income contexts.

Training in Global Mental Health is open to all students. It is not limited to Department of Mental Health students.

NIMH T32 Training Program

Through funding from the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), we support a pre-doctoral and post-doctoral fellowship program for U.S. citizens and permanent residents interested in global mental health research. We recognize that a diverse student population enriches our research community and the study of global mental health.
