What is a Prevention Research Center?
The Johns Hopkins Center for Adolescent Health is one of 26 academic research centers that make up the Prevention Research Centers (PRCs) Program.
The PRC Program is a national network of academic, community, and public health partners that conduct applied public health research and promote the use of practices proven to promote good health.
The PRC Program is supported by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) (CA# 1U48DP005045-01).
CDC funding provides support for community outreach, community-initiated evaluation projects, community-based educational activities, student training, and our CORE research project, which evaluates the Grads2Careers program.
