Emily Gurley Awarded 2020 Shikani/El Hibri Prize for Discovery and Innovation

Emily S. Gurley, PhD, an assistant scientist in the Department of Epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, has received the 2020 Shikani/El Hibri Prize for Discovery & Innovation in recognition of her leadership in establishing the Novel Coronavirus Research Compendium (NCRC), as well as her leadership in online contact tracing training.
The annual prize recognizes excellence in the laboratory sciences and discoveries that have the potential to significantly advance biomedical science and translate into improvements to patient care or the public’s health.
