Johns Hopkins International Injury Research Unit Participates in Stakeholders Meeting in Brazil

Recently, Johns Hopkins International Injury Research Unit’s assistant scientist Katharine Allen participated in a stakeholders seminar on road safety data in Sao Paulo, Brazil as part of the Bloomberg Initiative for Global Road Safety. This event was hosted by the program’s local focal point and embedded staff on Wednesday, March 9.
Approximately 35 people from various sectors related to road safety, such as transport, police and health in Sao Paulo attended the half-day event to listen to four presentations relating to data and road safety in Brazil. Dr. Allen presented the findings from JH-IIRU’s baseline assessment.
